Nuisance Violations

Public nuisances negatively affect the social, economic, and environmental characteristics of neighboring properties and neighborhoods. They can lower property values, create health hazards, and attract illegal activities.

Some examples of Nuisance Code violations include:

  • Accumulation of garbage, trash, junk.
  • Inoperable, unlicensed, or junk vehicles on private property.
  • Vegetation encroaching onto the right-of-way creating a pedestrian or traffic hazard.
  • Graffiti.
  • No utilities or garbage service.
