Nuisance Abatement Code: A program for the removal of public nuisance and code violation.
The Nuisance abatement is a last resort effort to bring a nuisance property into compliance. The abatement process works towards compliance with property owners and as a last resort may result in, the boarding up of a vacant building, overgrown grass and or trees and shrub removal, garbage removal, and junk vehicles on private property removal, all of which will result in a lien for any cost placed upon the property. Fines and citations may also occur. Delinquent Liens will be recorded with Grays Harbor County Assessor.
