Position Summary: The Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator-In-Training performs plant and equipment training, operations, and maintenance duties in a secondary activated sludge treatment plant and related installations.
Experience, education, or training which provides the level of knowledge, skill and ability
equivalent to: High school graduation or GED equivalent.
Licenses, Certificates and other requirements:
- WA State Wastewater Certificate Operator-in-Training (OIT) within 6 Months of Employment and Obtain Group I certification within 18 months of employment.
- Valid WA State Driver’s License / No Serious or Frequent Violations
- Current First Aid/CPR Card
