 Salary range: $4,953 ($5,213 after graduation from the academy)

Additional range $5,475-$6,335 per month

Position summary: Provides assistance, emergency aid, security and protection to citizens by patrolling business and residential areas, responding to requests for information and assistance, investigating criminal activity and otherwise ensuring the proper enforcement of laws and regulations.

 Entry level applicants must:

  1. have a high school degree or GED,
  2. be a U.S. Citizen,
  3. be at least 21 years of age,
  4. have a valid driver’s license,
  5. have no record of felony conviction or excessive traffic violations,
  6. have good moral character, and
  7. apply through www.publicsafetytesting.com.

 The City will be notified of applicants who pass the PublicSafetyTesting.com exam and will contact those applicants for the next step(s) in the process.
