Salary Range:   Range 18: $4,299 – $5,226

Position Summary:  Engineering Technicians assist in the planning, coordinating and conducting the design and construction of public works projects. Responsibilities include mapping, permitting and archival functions and assisting staff members on various projects and activities

Engineering Technician III:  Positions in this classification are distinguished by the increased skill and responsibility required to assist a technical team or professional engineer in the planning and implementation of major public works construction projects or programs. Utilizes technical software primarily for public works projects and city Geographic information systems including mapping

LICENSES, CERTIFICATES & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

High school degree or GED plus two years of technical training in engineering technology or related field to include computerized drafting and design with AutoCAD and three years of related field or office experience in civil engineering. Valid WA State Driver’s License.
