I recently moved into a house on East Market Street by the 7-Eleven, I love the area and my house, but the businesses across the street from my house have their workers park all of their cars in front of my and my neighbor's homes taking up our parking spaces, instead of using the empty lot they own next door or parking in front of their business. I have two cars. I need the other parking space to park my car. Now my husband is having to park all the way down the street when he gets home from work. It is ridiculous that we have to do this at our own homes. When we try talking to the business, they simply either shrug it off or say they will do something and they don't. When we politely ask the workers if they would mind parking in one of the many parking spots their business has in the lot next door, they flip us off or purposely park in front of our driveways the next day. I believe that at least the residential side of East Market Street should be made residential only parking.
