WELCOME TO ELECTION SEASON!

ARE YOU RUNNING FOR OFFICE AND NOT SURE WHERE YOU CAN PLACE YOUR SIGNS?

Have you noticed any missing campaign signs? Chances are that your signs may be at City Hall.

The City of Aberdeen does not allow political signs on any City owned property, nor on the adjacent rights-of-way in front of City owned property.

If you or someone you know has accidently placed a sign on City property, staff more than likely picked up the sign and have it stored at City Hall. Stop by City Hall Monday through Friday between 8 am and 5 pm to pick up any signs that may have been collected.

If you would like to put up signs in the right-of-way (not city owned) please remember to first get the permission of the abutting property owner as they technically own the right-of-way.
