Welcome to the Aberdeen Police Department’s website. This website will provide you with an opportunity to learn more about us and some of the various services we provide.
The Aberdeen Police Department was formally established in the developing timber town in 1888. Today the department has 38 commissioned officers and 17 civilian staff members, serving our community of approximately 17,000 residents occupying over 12 square miles. On average we respond to nearly 26,000 incidents and book approximately 1,900 inmates into our in-house jail facility each year.
Located in picturesque Grays Harbor County near the beautiful Pacific Ocean, Aberdeen is only 50 miles west of Olympia (the Washington State Capital) and the I-5 corridor. We provide 24-hour police services, and our Records office is open 8 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday to serve you. If you need to speak with an officer after hours (or on the weekend), you can call the Grays Harbor Dispatch Center’s non-emergency number (360-533-8765) and an officer will be dispatched to contact you.
